After 3 and a half years (and I mentioned the no patience part – right), we get our referral (YAY – WOO HOO – WOW) but no info beyond name, age and province. So here it is in all its glory:
Name: Fu Li Zhuang
DOB: Feb 13, 2009
Province: Hunan
We’re thrilled, ecstatic, over-the-moon and NUTSO because we have to wait until the end of a week for a picture. DID I MENTION THE NO PATIENCE PART???? This process was designed to make me nuts. I guess that’s why you get such juicy babies at the end – because there needs to be something pretty damn good to keep you going! *sigh*
If not for the ever mellow and pragmatic Russ, my head would have long since exploded. Something tells me he’s wishing for the travel date to come reallly soon for completely different reasons that I am (to shut me up). Oh – on that note, we’re roughly scheduled to leave the last week of October. Stay tuned as new rushes. errmm, inches in…
Wow, this is awesome! Thanks for sharing! I look forward to reading more and more as the days continue. hang in there babes! xo
Hi Les & Russ:
So, why am I not surprised at your reaction. OF COURSE you’re over the moon – me too!! It’s finally happening. We can hardly wait for pictures, for you to bring her home, and for us to come visit. (By the way, I think it’s neat that she’s named after me!) Let us know the name you have chosen so we can start using it.
Lolo will be so proud to have a mei mei. We’ll be so delighted to have a new granddaughter. You will be (are)such wonderful parents.
Congratulations, blessings, and love from us.
Grandma and Gege
Congratulations! Keep the news coming, we’ll keep reading…
WOW, finally and congratulations!
Congrats. Sooooooooooo happy for your (growing) family.
I am soooooo thrilled for all of you (which means Bubby, too, of course!)
Just back (literally two hours ago) from Bali or I’d have a stab at being both meaningful and eloquent instead of just saying that I’m happy that your long wait finally has an end date.
Fondly,
Marilyn
